At 21:51 hrs the station was hit out for another Building Fire response in Norwood. This time crews were dispatched to 233 W. Garfield ave for smoke in the building. Engine 8 arrived first due to a three story multiple family dwelling with PD reporting smoke from the second floor windows. Crews made entry while Snozzle 8 layed in from the hydrant at the corner. Crews from 08 and 02 encountered a "medium" smoke condition on the second floor and stretched an 1 3/4 handline. After further investigation, it was found to be a small smoldering pile that the crews handled with ease. The Company was available a short while later after wrapping up. Another Excellent job to the first in crew!
