A suspect  burglarized the local tobacco shop and stole a few items, then led police on a high speed chase. The suspect turned down the dead end street at the swim club and thought he was driving the General Lee in the Dukes of Hazard, when he hit the snow mound which launched himself in the air, ricocheting off the dumpster, clearing the 6 ft. fence and landing down the short incline down near the Septa/Amtrak tracks. The police caught the suspect and the Crew from Station 8 was called in to assist them in getting the vehicle out from down near the tracks. The Police had already notified a big wrecker to pull the car up and out.

Our crew cut down the fence and two posts via the K-12 saw, creating an entrance way. Crews also secured the power to the vehicle and provided lighting for the scene. Good job by all!
