This morning at 0108, the box was struck for a working fire in Eddystone. 1000 block of Leiper street was the location, bringing in 12, 7, 62, 48 and RIT 8. Company 12 arrived to find a working basement fire and attacked same via rear entrance door. Company 7 had ventilation, 62 had the search with 48 in support. RIT 8 conducted size up and walk around in addition to placing ladders, straightening kinks (attack line) and setting up scene lighting. RIT 8 staged in the rear buy the advancing hose lines and manned the back up line as well. With the fire under control RIT 8 stood by for the overhaul, being released with in the hour.
