The Prospect Park Fire Company #1 is an all-volunteer organization that has provided fire protection and rescue services to Prospect Park, PA, for over 100 years.
As Station 8 within the Delaware County fire system, our dedicated team of approximately 50 volunteers responds to emergencies throughout the borough and surrounding areas.
The department maintains a modern fleet including engine trucks, a ladder truck, and rescue vans to handle residential and commercial emergencies. Our members receive comprehensive training to ensure they're always ready when seconds count most.

Young volunteers aged 16–18 who are eager to learn. Must complete 17 weeks of fire-fighting school to become certified.
